How To Audition For Staff Instructor-

Nye’Aye, Inc. is always looking for artistic individuals with a background in teaching dance in the following disciplines: Jazz, Liturgical, Lyrical, African dance, Creative Movement, Classical Ballet, Modern (Dunham technique), Yoga, Pilates, Tumbling, Cheering, Stepping, Ballroom dancing, Hip-hop, Break dance, Choreography, Dance Teams and Tap dance, Percussion (Drums, bongos, etc…).

We offer our instructors competitive salaries, health insurance and reasonable mileage expenses.

Our talented staff is made up of many different instructors with varying backgrounds and varying amounts of experience. They each are acclaimed in some area of expertise of dance and are award winning dancers, choreographers or coaches. All of our staff are currently performing or working as professional dancers, choreographers and coaches. If you are interested in becoming a Nye’Aye, Inc. ‘I-CAN” Dance Studio Staff Instructor here is all you need to do:

• Send in a VHS videotape with footage of yourself demonstrating skills, such as turns, leaps, jumps and kicks.
• The videotape should also include footage of your own choreography, whether it is of yourself performing it, or a team or individuals.
• If possible, also include footage of yourself instructing, either to the camera, to someone, to a class or to a team. This will give us an idea of your teaching style.
• Please include with your video a short "dance" resume, listing your experience.
• If you have an idea of how much you are able and willing to work during our Dance Studio hours, Offsite locations, After-school sessions, Summer Camp or School’s Out sessions, please include a listing of this as well. (Example: I want to teach at one camp this summer - or - I am available for as many sessions as possible.)
• Please include a recent photo or snap shot. This need not be professionally done, as it is only used for identification purposes.
